Instructions for the installation of MegaStar:

MegaStar was developed back in the days of Windows 3.1, 
before the current standard of installing software to a 
"Program Files" folder.  Hard drives were so small, many 
people had to read the 500 MB of data from the CD-ROM, 
rather than storing the data on the hard drive.  
So the setup program had options to specify where to read
the data. That was the setup's ONLY purpose, and it is
now unnecessary.  You just need to copy files to a folder.

To install MegaStar:

1. Create a folder on the C drive named "MegaStar5".
   YOU MUST USE c:\MegaStar5 or it will not work!

2. Unzip the "MegaStar5.zip" file to that folder.

3. You can create a program shortcut by RIGHT clicking 
   on the MegaStar5.exe file, look for "Send To", then 
   click "Desktop (create shortcut)".
